::stumbling in my rush:: YES MA'AM. Yes, I do. Realistically, to learn, it's totally fine to get a Suregrip or Lenexa or less expensive pair of indoor/outdoor. Got my first two pairs (as an adult) from rollerskatenation online, and didn't break the bank, and they're perfectly for getting comfortable. Although I have to say, and my old school freestyle father will attest, there's no comparison to skating on the wood with some nice 98A wheels!
i am about to buy rollerskates to join a skating club that apparently operates out of my apartment building. any recs???
