Absolutely. Writing Advice (like all advice) is reductive in the hopes of making it applicable to as many people as possible, which I don't think is a worthwhile endeavor expressly because I don't think it's actually possible. It takes a lot of investment on both the side of the advice-seeker and the advice-giver to come up with anything useful because it needs to be pretty specific to the person and their concerns/strengths/weaknesses.
That's a great way of putting it. It's why most times if I give advice, it's in list form. A "Choose your own adventure" if you will. With many caveats.
